More about me

What I do

“It always seems impossible until its done.”

I am software developer at the SAP Innovation Center Network in Potsdam, Germany. Since I started working at the SAP I have contributed to various projects related to Source Code Analysis, In-House Entrepreneurship and Healthcare. In February 2014 I started working on a product called Medical Research Insights, which focuses on providing tailored analytics to the needs of physicians.

My education started in the German School Colegio Humboldt in my home town Puebla, Mexico. I attained a B.Eng. in Computer Systems Engineering from the Universidad de las Americas in Puebla, Mexico. During my undergraduate studies participated in an exchange program with the Technical University Munich in Germany where I did several courses and also wrote my Bachelor's thesis with title Autonomous Distributed Control and Management via MAPE

I attained a M.Sc. in Computer Science from the Technical University Munich, Ludwig Maximillian Univestiy and Augsburg University. By the end of my master studies I joined the MIT AgeLab where I wrote my master thesis. For this research task, we applied classification algorithms to detect the cognitive workload level that a person has while driving a car. This work was done under the supervision of Bryan Reimer and Bruce Mehler.

My hobbies include traveling, photography, and sports like Crossfit, biking, swimming and running. In the past few months I have also tried freeletics, that is very similar to Crossfit, but using only your own body weight.
